WHY 6" SCULPTURES?: Very early, we decided to take advantage of existing dollhouse furniture and accessories when we wanted to create an environment for our Small Frys. We found that a 6" figure was about the right size to go with all these wonderful accessories. True, we can't always find what we want and have to end up making what we need, but often they come in very handy. There must be more than 10,000 of these items available and we take advantage of them when we can.

THE TWO TYPES OF 6" SCULPTURES: We create (1) Limited Edition and (2) Custom-made sculptures in the 6" size. Each serves a different purpose - as described below.

(1) LIMITED EDITIONS - A BRIEF HISTORY:  Sheri's first sculptures were limited to a single figure. When a friend expressed an interest in owning a certain sculpture, she attempted to duplicate the design of the original. She learned she could do it and was rewarded in knowing that friends actually liked what she was doing - enough to shell out their hard earned cash to own it. Although she became very good at recreating the originals, she quickly decided she did not want to make a career of duplicating a single design. So, it was decided to limit any design to a maximum of 100 figures. These figures are created a few at a time as the need arises. Only one sculpture, "Ashby - Arbor Day" has had the full 100 made and some of these are still available. Each comes with with its own affidavit certifying that it is an original.

(2) CUSTOMS - A BRIEF HISTORY: After about 3 years of making the Limited Editions, another friend ask Sheri if she would be willing to create a special sculpture that depicted his wife at her spinning wheel. Sheri made the sculpture and it was a "hit". Slowly over the next two years the demand for the Custom Small Frys crowded out any time Sheri had to create her other sculptures. Now almost all her time is spent creating the Customs. While these are slow to create, they are very rewarding for her as the finished sculptures are greatly appreciated. Furthermore, Sheri works very closely with the customer so she can see and feel their enthusiasm.
